@dmn, is that mark at the bottom of the letter P above or below the surface of the coin?

@ Spence Its looks below. Here are some closer looks. It looks to be below like a crevice or crack . And it looks like the closer that the line gets to the P then its starts to get covered then the P is on top then the line continues from the other side of the P.

They are coin contact marks because the devices you are looking at are all incuse devices. They are not hub doubled either, the DDR is more in the central areas of the design.

Thanks so much for the feedback. Think in the last two pictures you can see that it looks more like a scrape mark that was made before the P was punched.&&
