Opened a roll this weekend of an OBW roll of 62d Lincoln Cent and came across this find. Should it be sent to Cuds-on-coins?

Looks more like a very slight lamination issue to me. A die crack would be a lot higher than that.

I can't tell 100% if crack from the pictures. But what is that discoloration that runs over the length with the "crack"?

That was why I suggested a lamination error. A die crack doesn't leave a line over the affected areas.

Oh, OK now I understand what you were saying. When you said "Lamination issue" I wasn't putting 2 & 2 together.

Now that you mention it coop, about the lamination and discoloration. maybe it was a lined scored on the sheet prior to the planchet being punched, which give the appearance of a die crack

I very much doubt that, a scratch on the sheet/blank/planchet would not be there on Lincoln's bust after the strike with the metal movement filling the die.
