The business strikes all had the blobby, indistinct mintmark as far as I know. 1979 s proofs are a different matter, but even then, the blob is the common one. Report this Post to the Staff

Mms-001 on Variety Vista is what I so elegantly referred to as the "blob". Is mms-002, the clear S, even known for the business strikes? I thought that mms-002 was only found among the 1979s proofs?
