2000 - Lincoln W/ Weird Beard, Sandbar Stairs And Die Chips?

Hey Friends,

Ok. I found this today and it struck me a little odd. Check out the beard. Is this normal? And on the reverse, the center stairs, it reminds me of a sandbar—also a possible die chip center roof. Let me know your thoughts? Am I just seeing things? Thanks!

@big, the stairs just look worn to me and then copper plating is missing in a couple places to reveal the zinc core underneath (on Abe's forehead and along the lower roofline of the Lincoln Memorial.

Note Abe has a dent on his cheek area and brow area:

When you look at the steps on the left side, you can see the push out on that area. (probably where you were already looking) But it is damage to the coin. Incuse mark on the obverse and a push out on the reverse. No premium for damage on a coin. There may have been a slight rotation on the obverse die.
