I am nearing completion of my classic Panama coins collection. I have decided that I will want a few of the coins in slabbed/graded condition if only as a guarantee that they are genuine. So far I have a PCGS XF40 1905 50 Centimos coin. My Panama coin collection is currently stored in a 3-ring binder and I was wondering if there were pages for slabbed coins that would fit a 3-ring binder.

Thanks.

12 pocket slab album pages should be available on advance order from your friendly LCS.
If it is not worth the dealer's effort to get them in for you due to low demand,
ask the dealer who makes or supplies them.

I know Lighthouse makes some they aren't exactly cheap at around $2.50 per page. Look for Everslab, Encap or Classic Grande from them. https://www.lighthouse.us/collect-c...s-for-slabs/

I found these but know nothing about them even more expensive than Lighthouse; https://www.safepub.com/coin-collec...coins-slabs/

You can also get Lighthouse from Wizard Coin Supply, my personal go to company when I need supplies. Great service from them and usually the best pricing as well, check there ebay store also. https://www.wizardcoinsupply.com/

I like doing business with this outfit, but if you can get them for $2.50 elsewhere ignore this:

To square the circle on the post from westcoin, Lighthouse and SAFE both make excellent products. Not inexpensive, and maybe overkill for your needs, but all-around great.

I recently did this as a part of a total reorganization to binders from a couple old bank boxes. It's nice to open up a page and see a piece within the scope of its cousins.

I bought several pages via Wizard, they are like $5/ 2-pack. Since I bought a few packs and some other supplies for the projects, the $10 shipping didn't matter too much anymore.

Here is how they turned out.

A two inch binder ring size might fit 5 of these pages = 45 coins. They aren't thin vs a typical vinyl type 2x2 binder page we are all used to seeing.

I would say that NGC sized holders fit best but newer ANACS and PCGS are good enough. Old small ANACS and smaller oddball stuff is going to rattle around depending on how small they ultimately are as the pages don't have a way to adjust. They are what they are.

Four ring binders are better.
That is what I use.
Why?
There is less stress on the page ring holes; the pages that carry a fully loaded page with 12 slabs can weigh a bit, especially if the slabs have silver dollars in them.

If you already have three hole pages, new holes can be punched with a hole punch so that they match up with the four rings. The end holes in pages for three ring binders usually match up in exactly the same position as for pages with four holes, so only the two intermediate holes have to be punched.

My binders are recycled previously used for carrying trade samples. Paid nothing for them.
Nevertheless, four ring binders are available in large depot stationery stores. for example, Office Works.

To avoid the page stress referenced by sel_69i, simply store the 3-ring binders horizontally - the weight of a full page (i.e., nine slabs) will not put any extra stress on the page's holes if stored in this orientation - I've done it for years w/o any issue whatsoever.

I bought one of these a while back, but had problem receiving the wrong item shipped, then they shipped the album without the slab holding pages, which I had to complain that didn't include with the album. 4 days later I received the inner pages.

Quality is nice, but the headache!

Always better to store plastic page albums flat.
