Less mileage. The more finger prints a coin gets, the browner it starts to turn.

Fingerprints to a new coin is like leaves in the fall. They turn the color from one to another with more of them added to the coin. Best to hold them with either gloves, or by the edge of the coin. Never on the faces of the coin. The salts in the body transfers in finger prints. You don't see them at the time, but like sate on a car from snow country, it gradually alters the vehicle/coin.
