I ran across this sorting thru my coins to look at for Wide AM I always check both faces reguardless what I'm looking for and check that the coin flips right too you never know what you may find ive checked this against the denver mint coin and it does not have this on the examples I have what do you all think thanks for looking

It absolutely is not a well-placed hit because I have 10 other so far that match it exactly by the end of the night I will probably have a hundred more

Also further more so far I've found this on 99 and 00 examples again I was looking thru my 98,99,00 for Wide AM veriety I can say for certain its on 99 and 00 so far ....lets get me attributed lol thank you for looking and thanks also for the image I like having them to refrence I'm hoping in my lifetime ill make a new discovery so I always look at every coin very closely on all aspects not just looking for known errors and veriety

That is most certainly not a variety, my guess is die over-polishing if its on various years.

I'll agree, perhaps over polishing, but certainly not a new variety. Not every coin is an error coin.
