Is this normal and should I investigate further?

A little low but not far enough off to be worth a premium.

Full, large photos of the coin's obverse and reverse might help--along with a couple end-on images looking at the rim at more than one location (to get a sense for planchet thickness/evenness). Thanks.

Just curious why you also used a 50g weight in combination with the cent. Is the 50g weight exactly 50 grams or is it a bit light as well?

I used the 50G weight along side of coin to show my scales are not off..

Not sure what Wheat cent tolerances are.. moderen is +/- .13 from 3.11..
So if the same it's pretty low..
In hand the coin doesn't seem to be abnormal nor is it magnetic..
I will upload some more pics soon!

Underweight planchets are not that uncommon.

Fairly normal cent. Nice photos! No need for the 50 mg weight, we trust you.
