Please post full, sharp photos of the coin's obverse and reverse. Would help establish full context for what we're seeing. Thanks.

to CCF. Not seeing a RPM or a OMM. I see a S mint mark that took a hit in circulation. John1

Sgtclough to the CCF! it looks like variety vista RPM-001 http://www.varietyvista.com/02b%20L...0SRPM001.htmand the die break on the C of AMERICA is one of the die markers. SIDE NOTE: to best help you, it is best to post a close up picture of the date with mintmark (especially for RPMs) and NOT at an angle. also posting pictures of the whole obverse and reverse. and a close up picture of the area of concern. good job on getting a picture of the die break on C of AMERICA.

It is the RPM-001, and as mentioned the S has taken a hit during circulation. Welcome to the Forum.

The mintmark took a big hit on the left side. You can see the metal movement to make it taller than all the rest of the mintmark. Coin damage.
