I've had this in my collection for some time but I never really knew all that much about it. From what I have read it is fairly unique. Can anyone provide me with more information?

Thank you.

Fairly scarce, 392,000 original mintage. I'm sure the surviving numbers are somewhat low but, there are several low mintage coins in this series. As far as value, you can get an idea at https://www.numismedia.com.

it looks like an ordinary Seated Liberty quarter to me, which isn't as bad as it sounds. seated liberties are very attractive and popular coins. the arrows at the date may be the "unique" part of it. they were placed by the date in the early 50's and early 70's to mark the change in weight of the coin because of silver values going up and down.

Nice coin. Looks like it would grade fine, with natural color and no defects. And I like the S mint, too. When you find these in coin shops, it's usually the run from 1875-1877 or 1854-1860, usually P mint. You'd search for a while to find another one of these, and probably pay a premium over list for it.
