Please let me know if this penny has a strike thru on the reverse or if it is post mint damage. Thank you.

This must be a pre-strike mark. Also me I see accentuated exfoliation of the planchet. In that time they use the head and the end of the plate planchet (copper roll). Those parts after lamination are obviously exfoliated. From your coin we can see clear that the strike was after. Please wait the morning to have tha specialists to pronounce. I give my opinion as collector and science retairet guy.

Nice lamination.
The top part has delaminates but the bottom has
still retained part of the lamination.
A keeper.

Thank you everyone. It is so nice to hear "its a keeper" as opposed to a "spender". I had a lot of coins that I had kept, thinking they were special. With this forum, I have filtered out about 90% of them. I know I have many more to get rid of. The responses are great but I now have to go and research what some of them mean. & Have a great day everyone.

Once again, I see that I failed to thank everyone for taking the time to help me learn about varieties. I feel horrible for the late reply but I hope you all know how much I appreciate your time and opinions.
