That's a pretty strong lamination you found! Pretty neat! Almost looks like the "ONE" is trying to escape

Looks like it could use 100% pure acetone. Almost looks like Lincoln sitting on his chair inside the O. John1

@ijn1944, Dearborn, PNWType.... thanks for the comments :).
@John1, I didn't notice it at first, but see it now, ha. It definitely needs a bath, how long would you recommend letting it sit in 100% acetone? Thanks!

But it is an "attached lamination".

Nice find, but I do not thing it is lamination.
Begin of 1962 some have 95% copper and 5% zinc and tin, almost middle of year the change to copper and zinc only. I say this because I will explain my theory here.
I suppose this coin is strike on begin or end of roll. In general those parts was more affected by melt blum (the liquid metal is purge on forms name blums), and those parts are more affected by impurities and non well mix alloy. The reason that in those days the mint recycle the first 12 sec. cut planchet.
So starting with this: 1. Between N & E is black granulated oxidation. Tin make this. If you compare this black oxidation with the others black points on the coins you will find big difference. 2.Bottom of N, the roll lamination show melt deformation (small holes). Normally find on the two ends of the blum. also confirm by the cracks in N and R up to the black spots 3.Between building left bottom and O and O and N seem to be over debris strike. 4. from O till U for me seem to be die crack. The die cracks experts here make say more precisely. 5. I thing the die was at the end of the life.
Which category to put? I have no clue, but NICE coin. Congrat. to find.
