1943 Tombac 5 Cents Lamination, Woody, Cracked Planchet

SilverDon Pillar of the Community Canada 2360 Posts	Posted 03/19/2021 2:14 pm Not sure what to call the woody appearance, improperly annealed? There is a crack along the center of the bust of the obverse and a big lamination peal on poor King George VI skull to the rim. Lots of stuff going on here are some pictures, any and all comments welcome. The crack and peal seem to follow the light coloured areas. Not sure if that was a weak area. Some close ups silviosi. Second: You speak about others things, but your photos do not show. If possible take close for lamination, quote: "a crack along the center of the bust of the obverse and a big lamination peal on poor King George VI skull to the rim". Why before?, because we can see that the strike is present on missing part. Very nice discovery, I have no idea of value but sure a very good keeper in errors-varieties collection.
