From the pictures provided I'm leaning towards this VAM: 1934-P VAM-1B Pitted Left Reverse

Try here http://www.vamworld.com/wiki/1934-P_VAMs with coin in hand it is much easier to ID a VAM. Good luck let us know what you come up with.
