I'm going to try and simplify this because I don't want to confuse anyone or embarrass myself because this is kind of a stupid question.

I am newly blind in my left eye and it makes it difficult to look for long periods of time with a magnify glass so I got a magnifying camera that plugs into my phone but I don't I should be looking for doubling in the words because if you get close enough just about everything has doubling then. So when do classify something of definently having it. Do you need to see if with the naked eye? If you can see it with a magnify glass is that the cut off? Where is the line drawn here?


Here are two examples of what I've thought were double die. Please let me know if example A or B is the real thing or if I've been doing this wrong from the start. Thank you!

The dime shows Die Deterioration Doubling. The penny is Machine Doubling

It does happen a lot. The mint uses the dies way to long after they have worn out.
