Just thought this was cool. Some areas looks like it's painted on the copper clad.

Zincolns can NOT have a lamination. Looks like PMD to me.

I know. Didn't know what to list as. Probably should've list my first thought was (WEIRD)
Could it be struck through? Then it peeled away in parts ?

I donīt think that it is a lamination. It looks like a fold in the zinc when they rolled it out. The copper plate fell off due to the dip in the zinc plate.

There is no zinc plate, the core is zinc. Lets wait for the coop.

Lol. Sense we're waiting for coop. Here's a few more pictures I took earlier but I hesitate to post to many.
I think these will help. I want to guess but better wait for Mr. coop.

To me it looks like it is above the plating. Like something on the coin that was added?

It does not look like solder. The solder would be a tad taller than the damage that is on the coin.

Oldfordman lol I have to proofread x2 before I punch submit sometimes even then oops.

Yes it's (weird) it does look like something is on it. Also missing copper at places. The area around U it looks like piled up there but not down in that damage area to south of U. There's damage all the way through but other places it's just on top of copper. (Weird)?

Weight will tell if any material was added to it. If you can provide weight in grams that would help
