I have a 1943 Lincoln penney that's black and silver. I've cleaned it thinking that it was dirt or something but what ever it is it's made into the cent. does nyone have info on something like this?

Just inevitable blackish color for a steel cent that has not rusted. Quite common. Worth a few cents.

Please, never clean coins. Could be stained or environmentally impacted. No premium, still worth 3 cents wholesale.

Tomorrow I will see if I have a kilo of those. Bid start at 1.5 cents each, shipping on buyer; or maybe to put on Heritage?

A common, environmentally toned/stained Lincoln steel cent.
