Hi, from a 1973 LMC. I know this is some kind of punching error but what is it called and when does it occur? The flattening of the letters are very strong on west side. Thanks

That's not an error - that's what die wear looks like.

In later die states, the die wear/die flow get so strong the edges of devices and fields flow together.
