Hello everyone,
I have what I believe to be a Abbasids Dirham. I would really appreciate it if someone could identify it for me. It have a diameter of 24mm and a weight of 2.91 g.

On its face, your coin is a dirham of Harun al-Rashid, Madinat al-Salam (Baghdad) mint, dated AH 187. However, I am not convinced that it's genuine.

Thank you for your response. If you don't mind, can you expand on what make you think that it is not genuine? I'm not familiar with this type of coin at all, so if you have any advice on what to look for in these type of coins it would be greatly appreciate it.

The coins at the link below should all be Madinat al-Salam 187. The roughish surfaces on your coin give the impression of a cast copy. Compare the surfaces on your coin with the linked coins. Also note the raised mark in the reverse field on your coin. I noticed it on coins of AH 188 but on none dated 187. I can't be certain from the photos alone but I suspect that your coin is a cast copy created with mis-matched molds.
