Can someone please tell me if this is a sm date or lg date?

to CCF! This is definitely a Large date 1982. There are a lot of resources out there that can explain and show the differences. I would suggest just doing a Google search of 'large date vs. small date Lincoln Cent' and it should populate more than enough material for you to read and understand the differences. Once you see a small date, which is predominantly defined by the 2 in the date, you will never miss the difference. A small date is much more shaped and has a curve as opposed to a large date. If I had pics right now I would post them for you but I'm sorry I don't. Hope this helps.
