I started with my Washington quarters. Went from Whitman Folders to the Dansco Albums the first 4 Whitman folders (1932-1998) are a complete series (P/D/S) turned in to the Dansco 8140 Album (1932-1998) with proofs and varieties. Now the collection has a lot of holes to fill. The remaining folders will transition to Albums as I get the new Dansco Albums. (Expensive they are). I took pictures of all the pages of the folders AND the new album. Should I post up all the pictures? you tell me if you want to have a look.

Nice change. I love the look of silver color against the Dansco tan.

I like both but the last few albums I got from Whitman the quality wasn't great, my walking liberty álbum the blue paper is peeling in a few places. My Dansco have been better albums.
Cant wait to see all the Dansco filled in with coins!

Yeah, I'm really loving these Dansco albums. They do look great in the slipcases on my book shelf.
Here, I'll post up my album as it stands now.

Outstanding! Your Washington album looks a lot like mine, with some lovely circulated examples! Mine was moved from a Whitman folder to a Dansco album as well, back in 1985.

Quote: Your Washington album looks a lot like mine, with some lovely circulated examples! Thanks, I had worked on this for years to get to this point. I think that is the reason to move them to the Dansco album with proofs, - A new challenge for me to get all the proofs I can without breaking them out of my Mint proof sets. Already have 1957 to 1964 Proof quarters on the way. I will remove the '57-'64 P coins already in the album and place in the new ones. Quote: Very nice! Thanks, hfjacinto. I have more Dansco quarters albums coming my way. My Lincoln cents albums are also in the mail..

back when I started collecting I didnt know any better and most of my coins were slotted into whitman folders. over several decades they ruined many of them. good to hear you are transitioning them to Dansco.

Luckily, my circulated coins were more "protected" from damage caused by their time in Whitman folders.

Nice folders, but your coins certainly thank you for giving them proper homes (and some better protection!) :D
