The one photo posted is a bit too close-in, 'glary', and soft for me to get a clear sense for what's happening. Suggest additional photos--sharp, less glare, and showing more of the coin (full reverse and obverse would be helpful). Thanks.

It appears to be a die gouge from what I'm seeing. Clearer photos, as well as shots of the whole coin, are needed.
