Your spidey sense is telling you something is wrong so you should just trust that. The one thing I noticed from sellers of high quality Chinese produced fakes is that they frequently touch rare coins with their fingers as they're not serious dealers; don't understand numismatics; ultimately, they don't care about the coin, so why would you trust someone who clearly doesn't know enough to grab a coin in that way. They don't know what they're doing so they probably don't know what they're buying/re-selling. I've also noticed that they like to mix in real coins with fake ones to buttress their legitimacy and also often include scales in their pictures to show accurate weight.
If you buy it, I would assume guilt until proven innocent and test it every which way.
To me, this coin has a minty freshness to it, but with signs of wear, which makes no sense and if it doesn't make sense, like Judge Judy says, it's probably not true.
