Would love to hear opinions on what may be the cause of this. Initially I suspected damage,but it seems too uniform and natural to have taken a hit. I suspect a strange rim burr. Neat anomalie to debate. Cheers

Maybe a post strike lamination? Might be a strike though given how sharp the end is. Cool find either way!

So if the weight is slightly above 5.0 grams, then it is as add on from another coin. If the weight is normal, it was a piece from this coin. But I'm not seeing any rim edge missing?
