This is a recent acquisition. I think it is Chinese or Japanese, but not 100% sure. Could be a military or transit token? It is 22mm in diameter, weighs 5.4g and appears to be made of brass. As usual, any thoughts regarding attribution, age, rarity, etc. would be greatly appreciated.

A friend helped me out this one. He says it's a Meiji era token that was sold to raise funds for the building of the imperial fleet. It looks like it was attached to a pin and came in a presentation case.
