Well, it's similar to the color-shifting ink that it changes according to perspective, but this is different because it's a moving image that moves against the tilted direction.
It's apparently very hard to copy, since the strip itself is a piece of semi-hard plastic, and not really a thin embedded strip.
They say that each strip has over 650k micro lenses
