It appears from the angle the images were taken, is that your looking at the wrong area of the devices to find a doubled die. The reverse image appear you are looking at the outside edges of the devices. You need to look at the center of the devices for the spread of a doubled die.
DDO-001:
Double-Die-Or-Double-Duked?-1969-D
Note the centers of the Liberty, and the motto devices. That is where you should be looking.
DDO-003:
Double-Die-Or-Double-Duked?-1969-D
Note while this one is now showing spread, but not the hub doubling is not on the outer edges, but separate from the main devices.
DDO-002:
Double-Die-Or-Double-Duked?-1969-D
Same as die #3. It is not on the outside edges of the device, but separate from the main devices.
Of ten the differences between a doubled die and Machine Doubling can see see on these images:

Look closely to the point of these images. The spread is in the centers of the devices, not on the outside edges of the devices.
