Hello All,

I came across these five different mintmark locations. I looked on Coppercoins and wexler couldn't find anything. I appreciate the comments!

Thanks in advance!

Until 1990, the mintmarks were applied to the dies by hand. Starting in 1990, the mintmarks were part of the design. (no longer added) So the hand punched dies, had the mintmarks in a target area. Below the date and to the right of the bust. Anywhere in there was correct.

All within mint tolerance. Mint marks were hand punched on to each working die until 1990. I would keep the first one in a 2x2.
