Hi all!

I picked this Jeff up in a lot the other day. The listing had this coin described as a proof. It didn't look like one to me, but it had a nice strike and was only $10, so I figured what the heck. Seeing the coin in-hand did nothing to change my mind, but I figured I'd cast it out here to see what you fine people think.

You may want to correct the date in your title.

Just click on the link that says "report this post to the staff" and let us know what you need.

Also, are you sure that this coin hasn't been whizzed? I'm worried about the scratches.

Looks like a nice MS, but not a proof. Here's some shots of my 42 type 2 proof in PR-66 for comparison. You can see the sharp squared off rims on the proof.

Not a proof and it looks harshly scrubbed to me.
