Need Help With A 1917-P Lincoln Wheat Cent / LWC That Appears To Have A Doubled Inner Ear.

Scuba1 Valued Member United States 356 Posts	Posted 04/18/2021 12:36 pm I personally have never heard of a 1917 LWC demonstrating a doubled ear. There is one very major DDO 1917 variety listed on all the external websites but it strictly deals with doubling on the obverse date and motto. Just my opinion but it looks like this 104 year old Lincoln Cent has just been well circulated (still in decent shape for its age though) which has simply caused flattening to the ear and hair details making them flat and as a result it makes them look enlarged.
