It's been a couple years since I enjoyed this hobby, and to find this in my first box is super exciting. Scuba1 Valued Member United States 356 Posts	Posted 04/18/2021 2:19 pm Hey wadahek, just wanted to throw this out there. I found a half dollar Kennedy not long ago that had the same type rotation. Turned out to be a " Magician's coin"...... ARGH!!!! Not at all saying this is what yours is, hopefully not, but I just wanted to mention this. Heck... I wouldn't think a Jefferson would be large enough to fabricate a magic coin but I did just google it and sure nuff, they are out there. Your pics are a bit too blurry to tell but look at both sides of the coin and see if you can make out a hairline gap around the entire rim. You can also weigh it to see if it is within the Weight Tolerance for a clad Jefferson. Like I said, hopefully is is a rotated die because that's a nice one. Report this Post to the Staff
