I've got a question about star notes.
I came across a $1 2013 B note which serial number falls within the range of duplicated numbers in that series, but it's not a star note. It's condition is poor, but I saved it because I don't know if it means there's three out there or if it means they don't use every bill that's ordered.
Any help would be great thanks alot.

Only New York (B*) star notes were duplicated. If you have a well worn 2013 $1 non-star note in circulated condition, feel safe spending it knowing the serial number was not duplicated.

Quick-Question-About-Star-Notes

i know that it's the star notes only that have duplicates, but according to what I have read

2013 new york $1 duplicate serial
To be clear, these are the serial numbers that have duplicates:

B 0000 0001 * - B 0025 0000 *
B 0320 0001 * - B 0640 0000 *
B 0640 0001 * - B 0960 0000 *

so does that mean that not all of the bills are used? I've checked the most recent list there's * notes before and after this bill which is duplicated
