Mexico 1979 Double Error Off Center Double Die Unc

yontan Valued Member United States 292 Posts	Posted 04/21/2021 7:48 pm A fun find. I have a box with 50-60 Mexican error coins, and was looking through them for anything I might have missed. This 1979 off center 10 peso coin had glinting on the letters, so I used a glass and caught this nice, sharp double die. Check the pictures. The last picture shows really nice doubling on the profile, eye, ear, mm and letters. Report this Post to the Staff

I'm thinking that the rotation of the dies in comparison to the planchet was off as well.
