I am trying to decide if this is just a die chip or possibly a DDO on the E and 5. If it is just a die chip, would it add any premium?

It's a nice BIE, though I cannot determine which one. Not much of a premium unless you find the right buyer. Good luck.

Might be a nice looking cent (that's why we ask for a whole photo of the obverse and reverse) great looking close-up shots.. I would do something to that spot above the L in liberty (acetone or verdi-care)
With the bie chip, I would say your cent is worth something more than a nickel...You can check ebay sold listings...keeper for sure

to CCF good luck on future finds, have fun and keep asking when needed....

Die chips. Would like to see full and sharp pics of the entire coin--obverse and reverse. These '57 D cents may have other interesting issues going on (they often do).

I agree with all of the above, die chips. But I too would like to see full photos (always). Extra premium? There are just so many, so probably not much, but more unique chips, maybe more?
