Hi, I have several 50 cent Canadian coins from 1941, 1942, 1943, 1944, 1952, 1953
I'd like to sell them, I just joined this forum, whats the best way to promote/sell them?

. ebay is your best bet. Check ebay sold values to get an idea on current values.

Unless these are in mint state condition, they are likely worth silver value. They each have 0.3 ounces of silver equivalent (worth around US$7.80 today). Depending on where you live, Kijiji, coin dealers or pawn shops would be the easiest route. Expect to get around 90% of silver value. You might get a little more on Kijiji.

Unless they are higher MS (63+) condition, ebay is a lot of work to get silver value when a coin dealer can give you cash right away.

Ontario is in lockdown. No cash from dealers any time soon.

I have found silver has been selling like hotcakes on ebay. Always clearing above melt for coins that would sell for melt, usually higher for a decent grade. MS coins have been going almost as good.
