Large (I Think) Circular Die Crack On Connecticut Quarter

found a connecticut quarter with a die crack that runs most of the way through "charter oak" and then cut back on itself below to kind of make a circular break. is this pretty common?

Very unusual die break.

If the crack does make a complete circle, then it would qualify as a RIDB (Retained Interior Die Break). They aren't usually this large.

cool. I wasn't sure it was that unusual. it's a pretty good condition p mint, too. well, if a p mint can be considered "good"...

It is a site that lists die events. But I didn't see anything listed there.

so is this sort of thing rare? (not die cracks in general, but the one I have.) it is a die crack right? is it considered to be "large"?
