Hey guys. I don't know what my deal is with 82 and 83... But who cares cuz this one is pretty impressive. This is kinda just a preview till I get more good pics. But this one shows a pretty good spread with serious notching. Let me know what you guys think.

I don't think there have been any attributed. I don't know of any other large date DDRs.

Coop, look at the bottom left of the A (and the rest) of America.

Can't tell much from the pictures. Try a few closeups of the area of "AMERICA" you are asking about.

Ok so the problem I'm having is being able to capture both doubled images at the same time. It's always one or the other. But here is the same area, only I'm capturing the other image and the one you could see in the last picture is hidden. Note the little notched area has reversed.

I'm thinking the same--appears to be a circulation ding. Hoping we see large and sharp, less-glare photos.

You guys have to be kidding... I will show you what I see! I may need a photography studio and some technical school. But I will show you!

Circulation ding... Jeezy. I guess I'll throw'er in the spender jar... :p

CentHunterJ. Please keep in mind that you have the coin in hand. You are able to look at it under different lighting, angles, magnifications. We only have the pictures you have posted to go by. And honestly, your pics do not show definitive DDR.
You dont need a photo studio and technical school to capture what it is you are describing. But it often does take a little trial and error.
Think about how small of an area on a penny you are wanting opinions on. Try to make sure your photos show what you see. If not take some more, and some more and some more, then send the last ones.
