Low value ones on ebay and high value ones on Heritage Auctions.

Show a few pics - depending on what type of error determines prices.

Most of them have little value. The ones that have value are not valuable enough to pay someone else to sell. For example: 1936P LWC 1DO-001, 1869P Three Cent Nickel FS-302 and 1935D Buffalo nickel FS-502. I am waiting for these to come back from ANACS.
So off to ebay I go.
Thanks for the input.

On the coins with little, value, bundle them into one auction, so if anyone wants one, they will get the whole batch. If you have two buyers wanting different ones in that lot, then prices will rise. You will save time in selling, shipping, listing and save yourself a lot of time dealing with one auction than several.

I may do that with some but I was thinking I would start most at $2.46 and include shipping.

Shipping maybe more than you expect. It would be better in a padded envelope. With perhaps a little cardboard to keep the shape during shipping. So you need to try a dry run with the envelope all prepared with coins in it to determine how much it will cost for sure. Then you can charge or not charge as you wish. But just like other events in life, make sure it is a safe thing to do, before you leap. It could be like the guy who make his own bungee cords without a test jump. They paramedics mentioned the cords were 10 longer than the fall. So don't be a Wile coyote.

You are funny. I already did that. Took a prepared regular envelope to the post office with 2 coins in 2x2's and bubble wrap. It will cost .75 because it has to be hand sorted. I also did it with thin cardboard and it is regular first class postage. So, I think I will do both on a dry run to myself and check the results. With worthless pennies of course. Thank you for taking the time to respond to this. I appreciate it as I can tell you are a very busy one! I sell on ebay with the same name and will probably start in a couple weeks.

Why do you want to sell them?
To my way of thinking, that is counterproductive to collecting them and studying them.

Those who study them and share their knowledge are contributing to the body of knowledge of American numismatic research.

Ok, but how does one study, share knowledge, and contribute to the knowledge of numismatic research if no one sells coins and one must find everything themselves? It is pretty hard to collect and study what does not come up for sale at some point. I find buying, selling and trading coins fairly key to the continued success of numismatics as it gets the right coins to the right people.

Well selling makes "cents" to me - I have an entire roll of "BIE" error Lincolns I've found while roll hunting, and looking at ebay Sold items they go for about an average of around 5$ - If I list singularly then $250 seems alot better than a roll of Cents! I'm thinkin $250 worth of frozen foods in my freezer is way better than a roll of variety coins I don't really collect!
So Yeah, If you can sell them then Great!!

I love errors! I love to discover them the most. I do this mostly in the raw. After that, I move on to the next discovery. I only need to own it for a brief spell and then it will go to another to enjoy and study. I am not a collector.

FYI, if you're C&P that comment to reach 250, I'm pretty sure posts are scanned for quality before your profile gets updated.
