Doubling-On-Argentina-5-Centavo-1928:-How-Caused?

There is no doubling on the other side of the coin.

There is doubling on "argentina", progressively more pronounced, as well as on the date "1928".

What happened to cause this? I do not know if Argentina had their own mint at this time.

This looks to be a doubled die, and a fairly strong one at that. Cool find!

I believe this would be a Class V doubled die. The die was rotated on a pivot between hubbings, which is why the doubling is stronger on the one side.
