Definitely a keeper, looks like it had two strong clashes. Don't think it's worth getting graded though.

That's a bummer, I think numisma is right.

No doubt about that coin.A strong clash but that camel toed bear is a definite counterfeit feature.

Uhoh! That's even funnier then, a coin shop gave me a counterfeit in my change! Or something I should watch out for.

Someone may be using them to buy bullion and that's worrisome.
I can always hope they accidently used a gold core by mistake and it was to soft for the dies and press used with regular toonie core planchet

Although I agree that it is 100% fake, it is still a nice find. I have been searching every fake I do come across for errors and varieties and was convinced there were none, but now I know there is.
I also agree it is a little worrisome that you got it from a shop of all places where you would think they would know what it was.

I never even looked at the Reverse. That size 8 1/2 in my mouth tastes crappy.

Counterfeit with die clash... obviously, whomever is making those, is not overly worried about die flaws!! I believe Mike found a few like this.
I also updated the title - so that folks like Mike Marshall will see this thread.
