Just wondering what this is? The black arrows are pointing to a crack.
Really sorry for pictures different angles of light. These are the best of the bunch.

Something mechanical rubbed on that area. Note the striation lines. (images 4-6) But I can see if it were a die cent or not? I'm guessing not, as the die dents look different than this:

I guess the real test would be: "Is that area attached to the coin? Or is it loose?

Coop. I don't think it's a die dent. If the rim wasn't pulled away like that I would maybe think it's a pre Cud. It's aggravating I can't get a close up of the crack/red arrows. That shot of close up of rim is scoped 4x 20. It isn't loose. It's weird. The black circle looks like where it should fit together.
