My fiance and I were on a walk on a hill I tend to find old pennies after it rains. I made a joke about us finding something older and then she was like what's that? I didn't photo it until after I pulled it out of the mud. It was partially buried. Found in south Eastern Ontario close to Toronto on an old hill by an old school I'm a very old area.

No way it's real is my first thought because how could it be!? But I don't know so I have to ask for help!

It resembles a charm, but is obscured by mud.
I'm not strong on charms.
Could be worthwhile to clean it up to see the detail better.
