I don't know if this is worth bothering you folks but I'm going to throw this out there. I found this blank planchet in a mixed bag of US and foreign coins I had stored away.

The planchet if one inch in diameter, .20 oz or 5.6 grame 1/16 inch thick

Either your scale is way off, or it's a planchet of a foreign coin. 5.6 is much heavier than a pre-82 cent (normal would be 3.11 grams. I should you weigh any pre-82 cents to see what they weigh of your scale and go from there. If you found this among foreign coins, maybe it's related to them rather than a U.S. cent. And besides all this, a totally blank true U.S. cent planchet is basically worthless. Worth the cost of copper scrap only. Sorry. Keep searching!

to the CCF!

You sure it's not a knock-out from an electrical box?

Thanks everybody but it was with some foreign coins I bought on Amazon. Probably is a punchout that was used as a filler.
