It looks like a crack in the cheek and a second 'eye' above the bridge of the nose. Not sure I'm new to all of this.

Looks like a normal circulated coin. Value is in the silver.

There may be a lamination running WNW-ESE across the portrait. It's hard to tell from the pictures.
