I don't particularly collect this series but this one caught my eye. Do you think the small reeded edge 'hits' in the obverse field will hurt the grade?

Some of us call that railroad tracks . They also seem to be on the Sun and middle of lower skirt . Very nice head ,face and thumb . Skirt lines are a little weak .Reverse is nicely struct with just a few tiny pecks on feathers .
All said and done , MS-65 .

Contact marks do indeed affect the grade, particularly for uncirculated coins. Without those obvious "railroad track" marks this could easily be an MS-66 coin. With the marks I'd be at MS-63. Beautiful coin nevertheless.

obverse shot is little blurry and some areas are hidden by shadow so we might be missing some marks. reverse MS65 obverse MS64. MS64+
