Hello. I posted on the site once and received a nice review of a coin. Retired, Staying home due to the worldwide pandemic and generally looking for things to do to keep occupied, I started to collect all those little piles and stashes of coins scattered around the house.

So far, I am learning that the objective of collecting coins is to understand a vast array of information ranging from history, science, technological processes, humanity... and so much more!

My intention in joining this community is to first learn from others as to what's good vs bad in coins - just so I can cull out and use what I should have used over the years. Hopefully, I find a few coins in the pile that are worth collecting and passing on to the next generations, or if they are sufficiently pricey, maybe sell and go visit relatives around the world before the light goes out.

Hopefully I don't make a pest of myself posting the wrong images for comment. I have a feeling that the next post may be possibly a waste... but we shall see (and learn).

Thank you all for being here!!!

@silver, first welcome to CCF. Second, you may notice that I've removed your last name from your post. While it isn't against the rules here to post this information, it probably isn't a great idea to put that info out on the interwebs.
