Trying to figure out why this one is cleaned so I can spot it in other ones.

Sure!

A lot is experience for one, if you were to actually see what a full red, or even a choice red-brown Indian cent looks like in hand the difference between your coin and those coins would be very apparent.

That shade or redish orange does not naturally occur on IHC.

Yeah, I can definitely see the color difference between OP's coin, and the one you posted. I think I'm going to go bug some LCS to see slabbed reds/red browns in person. I want to but some Buffalo nickels anyway

I say MS65+ RD. Anything higher than that and I would need to see the coin in-hand.

I'm in the questionable color camp. It could be the pictures, but even from the pictures and knowing it was dark, color is still off in my opinion and light just isn't hitting right. I think it might get details grade.

Good luck if you try to submit it....on full Red IHCs, I am seeing more "questionable color" than I ever have.

Artificial color. Does not look right.

First,

I paused on the mark that is immediately NW of the point of the bust. I enhanced your photo by increasing light, stripping color, and sharpening contrast (below). I wonder if it might get detailed with a 94 code (altered surfaces), if this is seen as an attempt to reduce or cover the scratch. Thoughts?

Here's the enhanced closeup:

Very observant, seen this sort of issue before. Verdigris removal?
