How come the first thing some new members want to know is "how much is it worth"? No interest in the coin itself. It is worth 10 cents, it is not an error, it is a Dryer Coin.
Agree with the Dryer Coin assessment. Worth a full ten cents. Perhaps upwards of a dollar to a Dryer Coin collector if the dryer condition had been much more advanced.
I've never heard of a Dryer Coin collector. I guess it takes all types.
Most errors are worth a smile or bragging rights, but not much extra cash. It's very unlikely to find one of these great rich quick coins. A lot of what you see online for high prices of coins is predatory selling of damaged coins, unfortunately. It's a very fun hobby and we're happy to help you learn about it.
