Do you always buy coins that you need for a set or do you like to participate in auctions as much as I do and buy coins that completely do not match your collection theme?

From this, I have one problem, after buying and enjoying the purchase, I want to sell a coin that I no longer need and face the problem that I absolutely can not sell it at a good price (at least for the same price as I bought). There is only one way out-an auction, but since the law of the Russian Federation prohibits the export of banknotes and items that represent cultural value, you have to be content only with the domestic market, and as you all know well, only popular subjects (Germany, the United States, Great Britain) and national coins are sold well. I love the exotic. Because of this, good and sometimes expensive coins go for nothing.

I just won "1977 New Caledonia 10 Franc Coin-PCGS Graded MS63" it is absolutely not related to my subject and I understand that I will not be able to sell it, well, except for a symbolic$1

What should I do and what do you do in such cases?

Can you sell non Russian coins back to outside the Russian Federation? - for example, European medieval coins or ancient coins?

I don't pursue sets. I know this isn't popular, but it allows me to own coins from ancients to errors, U.S. to Egyptian. If I love the look of the coin, I keep it. No matter what it's value.

.

This is why I love my hobby. Sometimes I enjoy the design of coins and their stories. After all, this is a hobby and not a way to earn money. But I want to buy new coins, which also need money, and as you know, they are not always enough and have to sacrifice something
