1982 dime I found. Need help looks like a D over a P mint mark. Or is it damage?

. It is a damaged P mint mark. OMM's stopped in 1955 so it can't be that.

Appears to be post strike damage. Full and sharp photos of the coin's reverse and obverse would help us better understand what may be going on with the coin. Thanks.
